Old Meets New at The Dental House

Renovation works continue at our practice…

We are proud to be situated in Old Swan and love the fact that our surgery is located in an area rich in history and flooded with old buildings. This teamed with our passion for modern dentistry has inspired an old-meets-new feel for the transformation of The Dental House.

Refurbishments have been progressing steadily during the cold winter months. The roof over both buildings has been re-felted, re-battened and re-tiled with the original slate bringing them back to their former glory.

At the back of the building, the old stock room has been demolished and a new extension has been built up to roof height. We have incorporated the latest in modern insulation and building techniques whilst maintaining the traditional look of the buildings by reclaiming the original brick.

Stylish anthracite grey windows are to be fitted to add a modern touch and look out for our eye-catching, yellow front door which we like to think of as our trade mark! The buildings are being prepared for a sophisticated fit-out with a wired fire alarm, state of the art security system, CCTV and high speed network.

Inside, we will continue with our old-meets-new feel by incorporating traditional features in what will be a modern dental practice. This will include period coving and joinery that will fit in with the age of the building and stand proudly next to contemporary dental equipment.

We are looking forward to unveiling The ‘new’ Dental House in the near future and would like to thank you for your patience whilst these works continue and hope to keep disruption to a minimum.
